The inspiration for the MV "My Heart Hurts" comes from his wife's diary, where Huyen Cam recorded many long nights waiting for her husband with unspoken confidences. The pages of writing made Duy Manh face himself and the unintentional hurt he caused to his partner. From then on, he began writing the song as an apology and a journey to find tolerance in a mature love.
The special thing is that the female lead in the MV is not a professional actress but Huyen Cam. Her appearance in a product inspired by her diary brings a sense of authenticity and attention. This is not just a role, but also a way for the couple to tell the story they have gone through, as if affirming that understanding has surpassed all events.

In terms of music, My Heart Is dau still retains the soul of a self-proclaimed ballad, and is arranged in the spirit of modern RnB/Trap soul by producer Long Pham. From the original ballad demo, the crew spent a lot of time finding a balance between new sound and emotional depth, so that Duy Manh's warm voice could fully convey the fragile feelings of the female character.
The image in the MV is like a short film with two parallel timelines. The image of Duy Manh at the age of 70 re-reading his wife's diary intertwined with the surreal world of a lonely woman at an endless dining table, empty rooms, broken mirrors, and the enticing corridor of temptation. At the end of the MV, the table was shortened, the door opened, the elderly couple sat at a peaceful table, as a milestone for forgiveness after years of storms.
