The contest is organized by Phu Nu Ho Chi Minh City Newspaper with the contribution of Kim Dong Publishing House. The second round of awards ceremony took place on December 27 at Phu Nu Ho Chi Minh City Newspaper, with the participation of representatives of parents and contestants with entries and winning videos.
The atmosphere of the ceremony took place warmly and soi noi with cultural performances performed by the contestants themselves, along with sincere sharing about their reading habits and feelings when participating in the contest.
As a member of the Jury, writer Van Thanh Le highly appreciated the quality of the entries in phase 2. He said that many contestants showed real reading, real feeling, not chasing scripts or achievements. The selected works are rich, from literature, skills books to scientific books, besides classic books, there are also many new works, reflecting the proactively updating knowledge of the children.
In this exam phase, the storytelling skills of candidates have made clear progress. Many entries show a coherent, emotional storytelling voice, knowing how to emphasize and convey humanistic messages through creative and vivid expressions. The judges judged based on criteria: story content, storytelling voice, expression skills, creative elements and the level of spreading humanistic values.


The results of the 2nd phase, the first prize belonged to baby Ho Minh Chau with Kay's work "The Magical Medicine". Two second prizes were awarded to baby Pham Minh Bao Ngoc (Violent Childhood) and baby Nguyen Cao Thanh Truc (Green Lotus Bud). The third prize belonged to baby Le Bao Nhi (Glass Treaty). Three consolation prizes were awarded to contestants Pham Ngoc Lan Anh, Chu Bich Ngoc and Le Dang Diep Nhi. In addition, the sub-prize "Told Stories about Impressive Uncle Ho" was awarded to baby Nguyen Cao Thanh Truc.
The first, second and third prize winners will continue to participate in the Final Round, expected to be held in January 2026. The organizers expect the contest to continue to contribute to nurturing reading habits, arousing love for reading culture and creating a space of connection between families, schools and children.
