2025 marks the journey of 6 Vietnamese representatives in the 6 biggest beauty pageants in the world, including Miss Universe, Miss World, Miss International, Miss Earth, Miss Supranational and Miss Grand International.
Despite investment from copyright holders and months of preparation, the final results have not met expectations as 4 out of 6 representatives could not make it into any top group.
The remaining two representatives have achieved success, including a runner-up title, which is considered a rare bright spot in the overall picture of Vietnamese beauty this year.
At Miss Universe 2025, the representative of Vietnam is Huong Giang. Although she attracted attention during the competition and was highly appreciated by the regional media in some sub-round competitions, she could not go into the list of the best candidates. Not being in the top shows the increasingly fierce competition of this arena, especially in the context of Miss Universe continuously adjusting the criteria to expand the diversity of contestants.
At Miss Supranational 2025, the representative of Vietnam is Ky Duyen. She fully participated in activities, national costume performances as well as body competitions. However, the Vietnamese representative still stopped before the official top round. This is a similar result in recent years when Vietnam has not made an outstanding mark in this arena with a natural emphasis on stage performance and catwalk skills.
Miss Grand International 2025 recognizes Yen Nhi's participation. Although she is predicted to have the ability to go deep, she could not make it to the top in the final night. Miss Grand International is a playground that values entertainment and strong stage presence, so the early stop of the Vietnamese representative also partly reflects the competitive pressure of contestants from Latin America, Europe and some countries in the region.
At Miss International 2025, Kieu Duy is the contestant representing Vietnam. She fully participated in sideline activities and carefully prepared her photos. However, Kieu Duy could not be in the group of outstanding contestants in the top announcement round, ending a year without a Vietnamese representative with achievements in 4 contests with a long history.

In the 6 major arenas, Vietnam only achieved results in two competitions. At Miss World 2025, representative Y Nhi entered the top 40, becoming one of the contestants with high scores in the round of judging including community project introduction, dialogue skills and stage performance. Although it is not possible to go further, entering the top 40 is still considered a highlight this year.
At Miss Earth 2025, Trinh My Anh brought home the highest achievement when she won the 2nd Runner-up title (Miss Earth Water). This is an impressive achievement in the context of Miss Earth increasingly expanding its scale and strengthening criteria related to environmental activities. The Vietnamese representative left her mark with her presentation skills, stable body and performance style throughout the contest.
Overall, 2025 can be considered the period when Vietnam faces many challenges on the international beauty map. The fact that only two representatives are in the top and four representatives are not achieving results shows the need for more strategic investment in training, psychological preparation, building personal messages and developing international skills. However, the efforts of the contestants still recognized their serious spirit and professionalism during the participation process.
