Grade 6 integrated program in Ho Chi Minh City prioritizes students who have studied from elementary school, and also considers cases with sufficient English proficiency.

Ho Chi Minh City has issued a plan for enrollment at the beginning of the 2026-2027 school year.

According to the plan, the city continues to implement enrollment in grade 6 of the integrated Math, Science and English subject teaching and learning program according to Project 5695.

The program is organized in localities that have implemented teaching at the primary level to ensure articulation. Participating schools must fully meet teaching conditions according to the enrollment plan of the City People's Committee, and at the same time ensure facilities, equipment and classrooms for teaching and practice according to the regulations of the Department of Education and Training.

The class size is regulated to be no more than 35 students per class.

Regarding enrollment, the integrated program is registered in parallel with the mass system, applied to all students in the area and not limited by administrative boundaries.

Registered students must meet one of two conditions: have completed the primary school program according to the English program of Project 5695 or completed the primary education program and have English proficiency that meets the requirements according to the guidance of specialized agencies.

The results of admission to the integrated program will be announced earlier than the general program. Non-admitted students are still guaranteed the right to participate in admission consideration and allocation to grade 6 according to the general education program, according to the general process of the initial enrollment steering committee in the locality.
