On the occasion of the 15th anniversary of its establishment (2010 - 2025), Sala Humanitarian Club organized a large-scale charity program in Tuyen Quang province. The activity will last from December 5 to 7, 2025, focusing on humanitarian examination, surgery and the inauguration of schools for students in particularly disadvantaged areas.
At the Chiem Hoa Regional Medical Center, a team of doctors from Viet Duc Friendship Hospital and central hospitals directly screened nearly 100 patients, successfully performed surgery on 30 cases with complex diseases of Orthopedic and surgical injuries.
Many cases are poor people, ethnic minorities, and people in difficult circumstances, who previously had no access to high-tech medical services.
BSCKII Ha Van Linh - Director of Chiem Hoa Regional Medical Center, Tuyen Quang - said: "This is the first time the unit has welcomed a team of surgeons with deep expertise and high skills. The program not only helps patients receive timely treatment but also brings faith and hope to people in the highlands".

Associate Professor, Dr. Nguyen Manh Khanh - Deputy Director of Viet Duc Friendship Hospital, President of Sala Humanitarian Club - emphasized: "The greatest value of medical humanitarian work is to help patients have the opportunity to return to work, support their families and integrate into the community. That is the motivation for the Club to maintain its operations over the past 15 years".
In parallel with medical activities, Sala Club has inaugurated Khau Luong - Khau Lang school in Kien Thiet commune, one of the particularly difficult areas of Tuyen Quang province.
The project consists of two solid classrooms, built entirely from socialized sources contributed by the Club and benefactors. The 2,000m2 construction land was donated by a local household.
Dr. Phan Ba Hai - Deputy Head of the Department of Surgery, Upper Eximals & Sports Medicine, Viet Duc Friendship Hospital - shared: "We treat diseases in the operating room, but education is the long-term path to healing for children in the highlands".
Dr. Nguyen Van Giao - Deputy Director of Tuyen Quang Department of Health - commented: "The activities of the Club not only have a humanitarian meaning but also help the grassroots health team learn and improve their professional qualifications".
After 15 years of operation, the Club has examined and treated thousands of patients across the country. Each case that is cured is an opportunity for the poor and disadvantaged to have a better life. The program in Tuyen Quang has ended, but the volunteer journey of Sala Humanitarian Club continues, with the goal of bringing high-quality healthcare and knowledge to more disadvantaged areas.
