On May 19, the Dak Lak Provincial People's Committee informed that Acting Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Thien Van signed a decision on the establishment of the Provincial Golf Association.
According to the Dak Lak Provincial People's Committee, the Provincial Golf Association is a social, voluntary organization. The unit organizes and operates according to a charter approved by the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, in compliance with the provisions of law.
The Association operates within Dak Lak province, under the state management of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism and agencies related to the field of activities according to the provisions of law.
The Organizing Committee for the establishment of the Dak Lak Golf Association is responsible for organizing the Association's Congress in accordance with the provisions of law.
Mr. Nguyen Van Huan - Head of the Propaganda Department for the establishment of Dak Lak Golf Association (Vice Chairman of Dak Lak Young Entrepreneurs Association) said: "The unit is implementing the final work to organize the congress to establish the Provincial Golf Association according to regulations".
According to Mr. Huan, the unit's goal is to develop golf in the province. Through tournaments, the association will implement social security programs, supporting vulnerable groups in society. Especially for people in remote areas, especially disadvantaged in Dak Lak.
Dak Lak Golf Club was established in March 2023 with over 200 members. Through grassroots sports activities, Dak Lak Golf Club has coordinated and proposed that investors in Ho Chi Minh City build the first golf course. Thereby, investing in a number of other areas to contribute to promoting tourism economy and socio-economic development in Dak Lak in the future.
