The tournament was organized by Binh Duong Radio and Television Station in coordination with the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Binh Duong province, to celebrate the 28th anniversary of the establishment of Binh Duong province, the 95th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of Vietnam, and to welcome the Spring of At Ty 2025.
This year's Cross Country Race attracted nearly 10,000 athletes, divided into amateur and professional categories. Athletes competed in many distances, from 3km, 5km to 10km, including 292 professional athletes from 30 units from provinces, cities and industries across the country. In addition, more than 5,000 amateur athletes and 3,000 athletes participating in team races also created a vibrant competition atmosphere.
This year’s tournament witnessed fierce competition. In the men’s 10km race, athlete Nguyen Le Hoang Phu (Khanh Hoa) won, while in the women’s 5km race, athlete Nguyen Thi Thuy Van (Khanh Hoa) excelled over her opponents. In the group running event, the teams competed enthusiastically, bringing beautiful performances, attracting the participation of many agencies, organizations and schools in the province.
Binh Duong Cross Country Race is a traditional sport activity, attracting the attention of many people and professional athletes. After 26 times of organization, the tournament has become a prestigious event, not only a sports playground but also an opportunity for people to exchange, exercise, contributing to improving the quality of life.
