2026 marks the 10th anniversary of AEON's cooperation with the Ministry of Industry and Trade to organize Vietnam Goods Week in Japan, a journey of continuous efforts to introduce Vietnamese goods to international markets.
With this year's theme "Experiencing Vietnam through five senses - The attraction of Cuisine, Culture and Tourism", the event continues to expand, becoming a bridge to bring Vietnamese products closer to consumers at the same time at AEON systems in Japan, Malaysia, Hong Kong (China), Cambodia,... In Japan, the event will take place from June 11-14 at nearly 400 AEON stores and supermarkets.
This is an annual activity within the framework of the Project "Promoting Vietnamese enterprises to directly participate in foreign distribution systems" implemented by the Ministry of Industry and Trade, in coordination with the Hanoi People's Committee, Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee and AEON Group.
In 2025, the number of visitors at AEON Laketown - the main venue of the event - recorded a growth of 10% compared to 2024. Continuing this success, Vietnam Goods Week 2026 expects to continue to bring rich experiences to Japanese consumers, while expanding opportunities to introduce products to businesses participating in the event.
With the theme "Experiencing Vietnam through five senses", AEON brings Japanese customers quality Vietnamese products, cultural space imbued with identity and typical Vietnamese delicacies.
Through the program, AEON wishes to increase the awareness of Japanese consumers about Vietnamese products, cuisine and culture.
Within the framework of the program, a trade connection conference was also held between 29 Vietnamese businesses and AEON's purchasing department in Japan (AEON Retail and AEON TOPVALU), the number of businesses participating in the connection in 2026 nearly doubled compared to 2025.
This activity aims to create conditions for Vietnamese businesses to understand the needs of the Japanese market, expand cooperation opportunities and promote AEON's own branded products manufactured in Vietnam as well as Vietnamese goods exported to the Japanese market.
