On January 19, information from the Can Tho City Department of Industry and Trade said that after 5 days of organization (January 14 - 18), the Can Tho Mega Sale 2026 branded goods promotion event has officially closed.

The event gathers more than 500 famous international and domestic brands, with more than 100 booths. Notably, although it is a large-scale centralized promotion program, appearing for the first time in the Western capital, it has created a strong "boost" for the consumer market in the Mekong Delta region in the days leading up to Tet.
Accordingly, the total revenue of the booths after 5 days of the event is estimated at about 14 billion VND. On average, each day, the event attracts about 2,000 visitors to visit and shop for items from fashion, cosmetics, perfume to accessories and consumer goods.

Not only bringing a vibrant shopping space with thousands of products from many different industries, the event also pays special attention to the element of transparency and protection of consumer rights. Goods at the event are strictly controlled for origin, product quality and discount rates, ensuring full compliance with the provisions of law on trade and promotional activities.
