In the context of strong digital transformation and outstanding data volume, information security has become a vital factor for the sustainable development of every business.
Providing comprehensive data protection solutions
Discussing solutions to help businesses build reliable data protection systems, Mr. Lev Matveev, Founder of SearchInform, shared insights into internal threats that companies often face, as well as how modern security technologies help detect and prevent them promptly.

With 20 years of experience in developing information security and data protection solutions, SearchInform is currently providing comprehensive data monitoring and protection solutions, along with tools to prevent fraud, corporate espionage, data theft and other internal threats.
SearchInform is operating in the MENA (Middle East - North Africa), LATAM (Latin America), CIS (Community of Independent States) regions.
From 2026, this unit officially expanded to Vietnam, Malaysia and Indonesia. In fact, this unit is no stranger to the Vietnamese market as it has accompanied and worked with local partners here since 2021.
Currently, Vietnamese businesses are facing two main groups of cybersecurity risks: external threats and internal threats.
If external threats include cyberattacks, phishing, malware and other forms of cybercrime, then internal threats originate from within the organization itself - whether due to intentional sabotage or simply employee negligence.
Reality proves that even when not hacked, companies still frequently lose money and face serious incidents from within. These are exactly the risks that this unit's solution is designed to prevent.
Sharing some practical cases where SearchInform's solution has helped detect and successfully prevent internal risks, Mr. Lev Matveev mentioned one of the most typical cases is that a customer of this unit discovered through the DLP system that: a system administrator secretly connected a secondary mailbox to the General Director's (CEO) email account.
As a result, all executive mail - including emails from CEOs and Commercial Directors - is copied and automatically forwarded to that secondary mailbox.
Not only does this administrator access confidential information, but the personnel of the competing company also see it. This helps the competitor grasp all strategic management decisions of the business in advance.

Information security in Vietnam enters a new phase
Currently, SearchInform's technology is a powerful assistant for network security and information security teams specializing in preventing data leaks and detecting business fraud.
At the same time, this solution is also extremely practical for senior managers who want to optimize the working efficiency of the apparatus, retain talent and increase transparency for internal processes.
Sharing about the reason for joining the Vietnamese market, Mr. Lev Matveev said: "We see that the information security market in Vietnam has entered a new stage of maturity. Requirements for data protection and data localization are becoming stricter, along with the legal environment being completed very quickly.

In particular, Vietnam has promulgated the Law on Network Security, the Law on Protection of Personal Data, and the new Data Law introduced in 2024. The combination of these regulations creates a large and sustainable long-term demand for network security solutions.
Mr. Lev Matveev said: "We are establishing the company's official representative office in Vietnam to connect as closely and deeply as possible with customers and partners. This office will ensure comprehensive support for customers, expand the network of partners and strengthen our operations in the domestic market.
For customers, this presence means that they are supported to deploy solutions quickly and effectively from the first day - completely eliminating having to wait for time-consuming feedback or being completely dependent on automated support systems.
For partners, this brings opportunities to directly access technology companies, receive advanced cybersecurity solutions and open up opportunities for long-term strategic cooperation.
