The officers, civil servants and public employees at the ward were neatly dressed in office uniform, all showing great determination, ready for a promising year.
Ms. Dang Ngoc Xuyen - judicial officer - civil status, Thoi Binh ward - said that today when she came to the office, she felt everyone was very happy and excited, everyone had their own goals for 2025.
“Entering the new year, we also expect the Thoi Binh Ward People's Committee to excellently complete the assigned tasks, and each civil servant will also contribute a small part to their collective,” Ms. Xuyen said happily.
Ms. Nguyen Hoang Ngoc Hoa (32 years old, resident of Thoi Binh ward) excitedly said: “After a period of working abroad, now I can return to my hometown and go to the ward People's Committee to handle administrative procedures. I feel very happy because the ward is spacious and clean; the staff at the one-stop service department are enthusiastic, thoughtful and always support wholeheartedly”.
To create a fresh atmosphere on the first day of the year, the Chairman of Thoi Binh Ward People's Committee presented New Year greeting cards to people and organizations coming to do business at the ward headquarters, showing his concern and closeness to the people.
Holding a New Year greeting card in her hand, Ms. Dang Thi Kim Dung (60 years old, Thoi Binh ward, Ninh Kieu district) shared that she was very happy and excited to receive a New Year greeting card from the Chairman of the Ward People's Committee.
“This is the first time I have felt the warmth and excitement at the beginning of the year, from the care of the ward leaders. This has contributed to building a close, trusting relationship between the government and the people,” Ms. Dung said with a smile.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Hong Nga - Chairwoman of Thoi Binh Ward People's Committee - informed that on the first working day of 2025, Thoi Binh Ward People's Committee has a small activity of sending Spring greeting cards, caring for people as well as organizations when coming to transact and carry out administrative procedures at the ward's one-stop department.
"The departments also work in a spirit of urgency, responsibility, discipline, and order, and go to work on time, and conduct transactions in a gentle and polite manner to create comfort for people and organizations," said Ms. Nga.
According to the Chairman of Thoi Binh Ward People's Committee, 2025 is expected to be a year with many difficulties and challenges, because Thoi Binh Ward has a large area, a large population, and high targets assigned in 2025. The Ward People's Committee has developed and set out key tasks, focusing on directing the implementation of socio-economic targets, ensuring national defense and security, striving to achieve and exceed 100% of the set targets by the end of 2025.
Thoi Binh Ward is a newly established ward after merging 4 wards including An Phu, An Nghiep, An Cu, Thoi Binh (old), belonging to Ninh Kieu District, Can Tho City. Thoi Binh Ward officially came into operation from November 19, 2024; has a natural area of 1.99km2 and a population of 56,364 people.
