The series of programs is organized to celebrate the 80th Anniversary of the Traditional Day of the People's Security Forces (July 12, 1946 - July 12, 2026).
According to the Organizing Committee, the "Peaceful Fatherland" series of events takes place in many locations in Hanoi, notably Dong Kinh - Nghia Thuc Square, Dinh Tien Hoang street and National Convention Center. This is the ending point of the art journey held in 3 major cities, after Da Nang and Ho Chi Minh City, towards the 80th anniversary of the Traditional Day of the People's Security Forces.
Opening the series of activities is the opening program on the evening of July 9th at Dong Kinh Square - Nghia Thuc, Hanoi. In the space by Hoan Kiem Lake, the program will combine rituals, music, art performances and modern technology to depict the image of People's Security soldiers through the periods, sending to the public a message about the value of peace and silent sacrifices behind the peaceful life of the people.
Within the framework of the series of events, the exhibition "80 years of People's Security - Silent Shield" will introduce hundreds of images, documents and artifacts reflecting the journey of building, fighting and growing up of the People's Security Forces from the early days of protecting the revolutionary government, through the resistance wars to the period of renovation and integration.
Notably, Hanoi City Police also built a separate display space, introducing prominent milestones in the process of building, fighting and growing of the Heroic Capital Police Security Force. Besides historical documents and artifacts, there are contents on digital transformation, application of science and technology in security work, contributing to helping people better understand the innovation of the Capital Police Force in the current period.
The highlight of the series of events is the art Gala "Peaceful Fatherland", scheduled to take place on the evening of July 12 at Dong Kinh Square - Nghia Thuc and will be broadcast live on Vietnam Television and digital platforms. The program is hosted by the Ministry of Public Security, in coordination with the Hanoi People's Committee and Vietnam Television.
With the theme "Flow", the Gala is staged as an artistic epic recreating the 80-year journey of the People's Security Forces. The image of water flowing throughout the program symbolizes the persistence, silence but strength of security soldiers, always silently protecting the Fatherland and the peaceful life of the people.
Especially, on this anniversary, the 80th Anniversary of the Traditional Day of the People's Security Forces will take place on the morning of July 11 at the National Convention Center. It is expected that at the ceremony, the People's Security Forces will be awarded the Gold Star Order, for their particularly outstanding achievements in 80 years of building, fighting and growing up.
