On the morning of May 20, Can Tho City Police organized a conference to deploy and thoroughly grasp solutions and plans to ensure the effective implementation of the "60-day and night campaign to guide people to activate and integrate information and data on VNeID level 2" (referred to as the Campaign). The conference was organized directly combined with online to the 103 bridge point of Commune and Ward Police in the city.

The conference aims to assess the progress of implementing the Campaign in the City Police. Focus on discussing and clarifying the shortcomings and limitations of units, thereby promptly proposing directions and solutions to remove difficulties and obstacles right at the grassroots level to advise the City People's Committee to direct and organize the effective implementation of tasks in the coming time.
At the conference, Senior Lieutenant Colonel Phan Hong Hai - Deputy Head of the Department of Administrative Management of Social Order presented the purpose, requirements, content of implementation and role of the Police of units and localities in organizing the Campaign.

Accordingly, the Conference identified 3 options for the work of issuing electronic identification accounts to citizens from 6 years old to under 14 years old; issuing electronic identification accounts to citizens from 14 years old and older and determining responsibilities in organizing implementation. Among them, some solutions that need to be focused on immediately are to closely coordinate with educational institutions, promote propaganda and mobilize parents to bring children to ID card and electronic identification points; Strengthen propaganda about the utilities of level 2 electronic identification accounts in resolving administrative procedures, online public services and electronic transactions.

Establish working groups to support people to install and activate electronic identification accounts, integrate documents on the VNeID application; Commune and ward police proactively advise Party committees and local authorities to mobilize departments, branches, and mass organizations to coordinate and support the work of issuing ID cards and electronic identification accounts to citizens, ensuring the completion of targets according to the assigned progress.
The activation and integration of information and data on VNeID level 2, especially for citizens from 6 years old, is identified as the foundation for building and developing digital citizens comprehensively, deeply and promoting national digital transformation; contributing to completing the objectives of Resolution 57 of the Politburo on science and technology development, innovation and digital transformation.

Concluding the Conference, Colonel Nguyen Thanh Binh - Deputy Director of Can Tho City Police requested the Heads of Police of units and localities to promote exemplary roles, mobilize the combined strength of sectors and levels, especially requiring heads to directly direct and take the lead in mobilizing, propagating, and guiding people to install and use the VNeID application.
Colonel Nguyen Thanh Binh emphasized that the deployment work must be synchronous and unified from the city to the commune level; the form of propaganda must be suitable for each area, each subject, with focus and key points. The tasks must be associated with a mechanism for monitoring, supervising, and evaluating by specific results and data.
