According to Ky Anh Commune Police, through the work of reviewing and managing addicts in the area, the unit has proactively coordinated with functional agencies to prepare dossiers and complete procedures to request the application of administrative handling measures to send H.V. P (born 1992, residing in Ky Anh commune, Ha Tinh province) to compulsory detoxification facilities.
Based on relevant dossiers and documents and current legal regulations, on May 11, the People's Court of Region 2 - Ha Tinh issued a decision to apply administrative measures to put H.V. P in a compulsory detoxification facility, with a term of 17 months.
The application of compulsory detoxification measures demonstrates the strictness of the law, and at the same time contributes to improving the effectiveness of addict management, preventing crimes and social evils arising from drugs.
