On May 18, Lao Cai Provincial Police said that Van Ban Commune Police had just coordinated with Market Management Team No. 8 to inspect and handle a bread production facility violating food safety regulations in the area.

Previously, on May 14, functional forces inspected a bread production facility in Na Bay village, Van Ban commune, represented by Mr. M.V. T (born in 1996).

Through inspection, functional agencies discovered that the establishment had not fully implemented regulations on labor protection for people directly involved in food contact and processing.

Through inspection and handling, functional forces continue to promote propaganda and remind food production and business establishments to strictly comply with the provisions of law; ensure hygiene conditions in the process of processing and production.

Van Ban Commune Police also recommends that food production and business establishments need to fully equip labor protection for people directly processing; regularly clean the production area; use raw materials with clear origins to ensure safety for consumers.
