8-year-old boy drowns while swimming in a fish pond

    Ha Tinh - While swimming in a fish pond with a group of friends, an 8-year-old boy residing in Hoanh Son ward unfortunately drowned and died.

    Mr. Nguyen Hong Cuong - Chairman of the People's Committee of Hoanh Son Ward - said that the incident of N.T.X (born in 2017, residing in Thang Loi residential group), a 3C class student at Ky Phuong Primary School, having drowned, had just occurred in the area.

    Accordingly, on the afternoon of September 13, a group of 3 children in Hoanh Son ward went to an abandoned fish pond in Hong Son residential group, Hoanh Son ward to play and then go swimming.

    While swimming, N.T.X (born in 2017) unfortunately drowned. Seeing their friend in trouble, the two children went with them and shouted for help.

    A moment later, people came to find and pick the victim up on the shore, but the child had died.
