On the afternoon of September 13, Ky Anh Commune Police coordinated with Ky Anh Forest Protection Department and the family of Mr. Nguyen Tien Cuong (residing in Phu Tan village, Ky Anh commune) to hand over a 5kg python to Vu Quang National Park officer.
This python belongs to group IIB - a list of endangered and rare wild animals that need to be protected.
It is known that on the same morning, while harvesting rice, Mr. Cuong's family discovered and took this python home.
After that, realizing that this was a rare animal, Mr. Cuong contacted the Ky Anh Commune Police and the Forest Protection Department to hand it over for release into the wild.
