The purpose of the plan is to raise awareness of cadres, civil servants, public employees, workers, soldiers of the armed forces, union members, youth, students, association members, volunteers and Hai Duong people about the importance, humanity and noble gesture of voluntary blood donation.
Since then, we have continuously expanded the number of voluntary blood donors, increased the number of voluntary blood donors to increase the number of blood units, overcome the shortage of blood in emergency and treatment for patients; ensure safety, and limit the risk of infection due to blood transfusion.
According to the plan, propaganda and mobilization activities need to be organized and implemented regularly, continuously and combined with large communication campaigns such as: Red Sunday; Voluntary blood donation campaign on Tet holiday and Spring Festival, National Voluntary Blood Donation Day 7.4, Summer Red Blood Drops campaign and Red Journey Program 2025...
The Plan also sets out the goal of promoting propaganda, mobilization, and counseling to reach 70% or more of the number of people participating in blood donation with a blood volume of 350ml. The organization collects at least 26,000 units of blood to strive to complete the target of mobilizing and receiving voluntary blood donation in 2025 in Hai Duong province.
At the same time, ensure sufficient blood supply for emergency and patient treatment at medical facilities in Hai Duong province and support upper-level hospitals.
