Hau Giang - Ca Mau expressway reopens, drivers line up to get on the road
At exactly 11:30 am on April 29, the Hau Giang - Ca Mau expressway section officially reopened to traffic after a period of temporary suspension, many drivers eagerly lined up to wait to enter the expressway.
According to Lao Dong's records, at the IC12 intersection (Ho Thi Ky commune, Ca Mau province), from before the opening time, dozens of cars had lined up waiting to enter the expressway. Many drivers said they were very excited when the road resumed operation right during the April 30th and May 1st holidays.
Mr. Pham Duc Trinh - Project Management Director of Hau Giang - Ca Mau section - said that in the past time, contractors have mobilized manpower to construct and complete items to be ready for traffic during the holidays. The expressway is of great significance in shortening travel time from Ca Mau to Can Tho and the Mekong Delta provinces.

In the afternoon of April 29, the last working day before the April 30 - May 1 holiday, the number of passengers flocking to Mien Tay Bus Station (An Lac ward) began to increase sharply. Ticket sales areas, waiting rooms and parking lots became busier than in previous days.
