Dong Nai opens a road more than 44 km long connecting the Central Highlands region to airports and seaports

On April 28, the 3rd (thematic) session of the 11th Dong Nai Provincial People's Council, term 2026 - 2031, approved the submission of the Draft Resolution on investment policy for the project to invest in the construction of a connecting road from Ma Da bridge to Ring Road 4 of Ho Chi Minh City. The project has a length of about 44.5 km, including 2 sections.

Tighten forest fire prevention in the dry season in Quang Tri
On April 28, in an exchange with a reporter from Lao Dong Newspaper, Mr. Pham Van Tan - Director of the Forest Protection and World Heritage Center (under the Management Board of Phong Nha - Ke Bang National Park, Quang Tri province) said that they are focusing on directing stations and teams to closely monitor the area and strictly implement the 2026 forest fire prevention and fighting plan.

Salmonella bacteria discovered in suspected poisoning incident at elementary school in Ho Chi Minh City
Regarding the food poisoning incident at Dang Thuy Tram Elementary School, Tan Thuan ward, Ho Chi Minh City, on April 28, Children's Hospital 2 said that as of 3 pm on the same day, it had received 13 cases for examination.
Among them, one case is outpatient treatment, 12 cases are hospitalized for inpatient treatment. Currently, the health status of the patients is stable, and they are using intravenous antibiotics.
Notably, according to Children's Hospital 2, the results of fecal sample testing of a case detected Salmonella spp bacteria. This is a very common group of bacteria that cause digestive diseases, often related to food poisoning.
