North - South expressway through Gia Lai opens to traffic before the April 30 holiday
Nearly 178 km of the North-South expressway through Quang Ngai and Gia Lai will be opened to traffic from noon on April 29, before the April 30 - May 1 holiday, helping to reduce vehicle load on National Highway 1.
On April 27, Project Management Board 85 (Ministry of Construction) said that it had reported to the Ministry of Construction, Gia Lai Provincial People's Committee, Traffic Police Department and Vietnam Road Administration on the plan to open to traffic the Hoai Nhon - Quy Nhon component project and part of the Quy Nhon - Chi Thanh component project, belonging to the North - South Expressway in the East phase 2021-2025.
According to Project Management Board 85, the main route sections and intersections of the Hoai Nhon - Quy Nhon project (Km0+000 to Km70+091) and 1 part of the Quy Nhon - Chi Thanh project (Km0+000 to Km19+800), corresponding to the longitude of the CT. 01 expressway from Km1138+000 to Km1227+800, passing through Gia Lai province, have been accepted and completed.
The section is expected to open to traffic from 11:30 AM on the 29th. 4. Starting point at Km1138+000, connecting to the Quang Ngai - Hoai Nhon component project; ending point at Km1227+800, connecting to Cu Mong tunnel on National Highway 1.

Quang Ninh's largest concert opens Ha Long Carnival 2026, starting on the evening of April 30.
On the afternoon of April 27, Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Ta Quang Dong - General Director of the opening art program of Ha Long Carnival 2026 - and members of the Organizing Committee of the program inspected and evaluated the progress of implementing work items, and agreed on program organization plans.

The concert starts at 8 pm, April 30, at 30/10 Square (Ha Long ward, Quang Ninh province) with the highly anticipated music stars including: My Tam, Tung Duong, Minh Tuyet... It is expected that about 80,000 people will attend this concert.

Provincial road 101 in Son La is blocked due to heavy rain and landslides
Heavy rain caused landslides of the positive slope on provincial road 101, passing through Doan Ket commune, causing traffic paralysis, expected to open to traffic on April 30.
On April 27, Son La Department of Construction said that due to heavy rain from April 25-26, at Km17+765 - Km17+780 (P)/DT. 101 (Van Ho - Quang Minh branch), belonging to Doan Ket commune, a rock landslide occurred from the positive slope down to the road surface, the volume of landslide soil and rock was large, causing traffic congestion.
Immediately after the incident, the route management unit mobilized machinery, coordinated with functional forces and local authorities to organize clearing and safety assurance. However, the taluy area is rocky, continuously landslides, posing a potential risk of unsafety, so recovery is facing many difficulties.
