According to Lao Dong's records, at the IC12 intersection (Ho Thi Ky commune, Ca Mau province), from before the opening time, dozens of cars had lined up waiting to enter the expressway. Many drivers said they were very excited when the road resumed operation right during the April 30th and May 1st holidays.
Mr. Lam Van Ben (resident of An Xuyen ward, Ca Mau province) shared that traveling on the expressway significantly shortens travel time. Although you have to wait a while to enter the route, it is still more convenient than going on the Quan Lo Phung Hiep route.

Meanwhile, driver Phan Truong Anh Tuan said that he was present from 10:30 am to wait to get on the highway to Can Tho for the holiday. According to Mr. Tuan, the road is smooth and traffic is fast, so many people are looking forward to the reopening day.
Mr. Pham Duc Trinh - Project Management Director of Hau Giang - Ca Mau section - said that in the past time, contractors have mobilized manpower to construct and complete items to be ready for traffic during the holidays. The expressway is of great significance in shortening travel time from Ca Mau to Can Tho and the Mekong Delta provinces.

The Hau Giang - Ca Mau expressway, more than 73km long, was put into temporary operation from January 19, but had to be temporarily closed from March 16 due to some unfinished items, the simultaneous construction and operation potentially poses a risk of traffic unsafety.
In the initial phase, the route is operated at a maximum speed of 80km/h and a minimum speed of 60km/h. Vehicles such as motorbikes, mopeds, rudimentary vehicles, pedestrians and vehicles with design speeds lower than regulations are not allowed to circulate on the expressway.
