Hanoi strongly handles violations, sidewalks in "hospital streets" are clear again
The "Hospital street" area of Phu Doan - Trang Thi - Trieu Quoc Dat has long been a hot spot for traffic congestion and sidewalk encroachment, but now there has been a change.
This place concentrates 3 leading final-line hospitals including Viet Duc Friendship Hospital (scale of 1,500 beds), Central Obstetrics and Gynecology Hospital (over 1,000 beds) and Central Odonto-Stomatology Hospital. The concentration of 3 large medical facilities within a narrow radius makes the number of people and vehicles flocking here always at a very high level, especially during peak hours of morning and afternoon.

In recent days, Hoan Kiem Ward Police in coordination with functional forces have simultaneously launched operations to handle cases of sidewalk encroachment violations, ensuring urban order.
Every day, inter-sectoral forces closely monitor the area, patrol continuously 24/24h. All vehicles stopping and parking in violation of regulations, causing static traffic obstruction, are reminded and strictly handled, with no exceptions.
