Notable forecast for the rainy season in the South
Mr. Le Dinh Quyet - Head of Forecasting Department, Southern and Central Highlands Hydrometeorological Station - commented that this year's rainy season will take place earlier than the average of many years, but it will not be uniform between regions. "In the same province, the start of the rainy season can be different for up to a month," said Mr. Quyet.
It is forecasted that from May 15-20, most provinces and cities in the South will officially enter the rainy season. In May alone, total rainfall is expected to be 10-20% higher than the average of many years, with about 15-20 days of rain.

Crowds flock to Tam Chuc Ha Nam Pagoda to worship and benefit from the Buddha
Since the morning of May 17, many people and tourists from all over the world have been present at Tam Chuc Pagoda to worship the Buddha. 4th body found in the case of 5 workers dying in Lai Chau
On the morning of May 17, after a day of searching, the rescue team found the 4th body of the 5 dead workers buried at the hydropower plant.
Accordingly, the body of the 4th victim among the 4 newly found victims was identified as Tan Su May (born in 1980), residing in Lan Nhi Thang village, Si Lo Lau commune, Lai Chau province. Previously, also on the morning of May 17, the authorities found 3 bodies, including: Phan Lao Lo (born in 2009); Ly Lao San (born in 2009) and Tan U May (born in 1985), both residing in Ban Lan Nhi Thang, Si Lo Lau commune, Phong Tho district, Lai Chau province.
