Hanoi deploys peak period of traffic infrastructure renovation
On January 16, the Traffic Infrastructure Maintenance Board (Hanoi Department of Construction) said that relevant units are implementing a peak period of renovating the road traffic infrastructure system and urban technical infrastructure in the city.
Accordingly, maintenance and repair work is concentrated in wards in the inner city area; accommodation areas for delegates attending the Party Congress; locations for organizing cultural and political events; political center areas; historical and cultural relics; roads surrounding the National Convention Center and roads serving delegates' travel.

Ho Chi Minh City prepares to inspect emissions of more than 11.3 million motorbikes from mid-2026
The Ho Chi Minh City Department of Construction has just sent a document to the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Agriculture and Environment, Ho Chi Minh City Police, vehicle registration agencies and affiliated departments and units on the implementation of emission inspection of motorbikes and motorcycles participating in road traffic.
Previously, the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment issued Circular No. 92/2025 regulating national technical regulations on emissions from motorbikes and motorcycles participating in road traffic. This Circular will officially take effect from June 30, 2026.

More provinces and cities announce the 3rd exam subject for 10th grade in 2026
Up to now, many provinces and cities have announced the 3rd exam subject in the 10th grade entrance exam for the 2026 - 2027 school year.
According to the official announcement of Thanh Hoa province, the third subject of the 10th grade entrance exam for ethnic minority boarding high schools and public high schools in the 2026 - 2027 school year in Thanh Hoa province is English. The two fixed subjects are Math and Literature.
Regarding the enrollment into 10th grade of Lam Son Specialized High School, students will take an additional specialized subject.
In Nghe An, Foreign Language is also chosen as an exam subject along with Math and Literature.
In which, Math and Literature subjects are tested in essay form, the exam time is 120 minutes for each subject.
Thus, this is the 2nd year Thanh Hoa and Nghe An have chosen the 3rd exam subject as Foreign Language.
Previously, Ho Chi Minh City and Da Nang announced Foreign Language as the 3rd exam subject in the 10th grade entrance exam.
