First day of reorganizing Dien Bien Phu roundabout in Ho Chi Minh City: stable traffic
This morning (May 23), Ho Chi Minh City officially deployed a pilot plan to eliminate the form of circular traffic (corail) at the Dien Bien Phu - Nguyen Binh Khiem intersection (in Tan Dinh ward). According to the new plan implemented by functional agencies, all vehicles will circulate according to a 2-phase traffic light system, instead of running around the corail as before.
According to records in the first morning of applying the new plan, traffic jams did not occur in this area. Vehicles moved relatively stably, only the situation of slow traffic flow appeared in the Dien Bien Phu and Dinh Tien Hoang intersection area to find a turnaround point.

Long Bien Bridge reopens to traffic from May 27th after nearly 2 months of repairs
On March 28, 2026, Long Bien Bridge (Hanoi) was temporarily closed to serve major repairs to overcome degraded items, replace the road surface on both sides, and renovate many items on the route.

After nearly 2 months of construction, the project is currently entering the final stage. Units are focusing on completing the final items to prepare for reopening traffic according to the plan on May 27, serving the travel needs of people.

From early morning, the exam site area of the High School for the Gifted (An Dong ward) was crowded with candidates and parents. Many students took the opportunity to review materials, chat with friends before entering the exam room, while parents waiting outside could not hide their nervousness.
