Ho Chi Minh City residents can now complete land and housing procedures by phone
Ho Chi Minh City Branch of Land Registration Office No. 2 has issued a notice for people to complete procedures related to real estate that can be done online on a full process.
Accordingly, Branch of Land Registration Office No. 2 (under Ho Chi Minh City Land Registration Office) has implemented the procedure for registering assurance measures for land mortgage registration dossiers, applied to certificates (pink books) that already have valid QR codes on the National Public Service Portal (https://dichvucong.gov.vn) online.
Regarding transaction registration dossiers, people can choose three forms to do it, one is to submit online for the entire process, two is to submit online for a part and three is to submit directly at Branch of Land Registration Office No. 2.

Large company fire in Dong Nai, column of smoke rises tens of meters high
At about 1:20 pm on May 22, a fire occurred at a company in Phuoc Tan, Dong Nai City.
Initial information, at about 1:20 PM on May 22, a fire occurred at a company in Group 9, Tan Cang Quarter, Phuoc Tan Ward, Dong Nai City with a fire area of about 2,000m2, the main flammable material was foam and PE film.
When the incident was discovered, local forces used water and mini fire extinguishers to put out the fire but failed. A few minutes later, a column of black smoke billowed up tens of meters high, many people a few kilometers from the scene still could see it.

Ho Chi Minh City dismantles inter-provincial drug ring, arrests 140 subjects
On May 22, the Investigation Police Agency of Ho Chi Minh City Police announced that it had successfully dismantled a very large-scale drug line, operating inter-provincially in the Southern and Central Highlands regions. Functional forces have arrested and handled a total of 140 related subjects.
According to the police agency, project VA0126D was established in the second quarter of 2026 after the Drug Crime Investigation Police Department (PC04) reviewed, grasped the situation and discovered a subject addicted to and illegally trading drugs on a small scale in the area of Ben Cat, Thoi Hoa, Binh Duong, Thu Dau Mot, Phu Loi, Thuan Giao, An Phu, named Dang Phan Thanh Tung.
