The first image of the plane that once carried Uncle Ho at the Vietnam Exhibition Center
According to the reporter of Lao Dong Newspaper on August 16, the IL-14 aircraft with registration number VN-C482 was moved by the Civil Aviation Authority of Vietnam to display at the exhibition "80 years of independence - freedom - Happiness" at the Vietnam Exhibition Center.
The transportation of the above aircraft was carried out from 10:00 p.m. on August 13 to 0:00 a.m. on August 14 with a travel distance of 6.5 km, from the Vietnam Aviation Museum to the Vietnam Exhibition Center.

Starting construction of the VND3,300 billion tunnel through the Northwest of the first pass in the fourth quarter of 2025
On August 17, the People's Committee of Sa Pa Ward, Lao Cai Province, in coordination with the Lai Chau Province Traffic Construction Investment Project Management Board, held a ceremony to announce and publicize the implementation of the Hoang Lien Pass Road tunnel Project connecting the Sa Pa area with Tam Duong (Lai Chau Province).
Accordingly, the project has a total length of about 8.8 km, of which the main tunnel is 2.63 km long, the secondary tunnel is 2.65 km long, and will be implemented in the 2023-2027 period.
When completed, the project will replace the 22 km most dangerous mountain pass on National Highway 4D, shortening travel time from 50 - 120 minutes to about 11 minutes.

Rare white-throated chicken discovered in Chu Yang Sin National Park
On August 17, Chu Yang Sin National Park (Dak Lak province) said that in the past, the unit had repeatedly recorded images of white-legged chickens in the area under management.
From 2022 to 2024, Chu Yang Sin National Park has coordinated with the Southern Institute of Biology and the Institute of Life Sciences (under the Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology) to set camera traps to record animal species to serve research and conservation work.
