Many sleeping chickens discovered in Chu Mom Ray National Park, Quang Ngai Province
On August 16, Mr. Dao Xuan Thuy - Director of Chu Mom Ray National Park, Quang Ngai province - said that through records from the camera trap system ( Automatic cameras installed in the forest) discovered many types of wild turkeys and wild turkeys living in the forest environment of the unit.
According to Mr. Thuy, Chu Mom Ray National Park has many types such as red cash chickens, white-throated fowl chickens, yellow cash chickens, striped fowl chickens, and goose chest chickens belonging to group IB (an extremely rare group. The camera trap system also detected wild chickens and pink-throated reptiles (Group IIB).

The project is invested by the People's Committee of Son La province, using preferential ODA loans from the German Government, along with non-refundable aid from the Swiss Government and counterpart funds from the local budget. The total investment is more than 900 billion VND, implemented in the period of 2020 - 2025. The project includes many important items, notably a wastewater treatment plant with a capacity of 6,857m3/day and night, applying modern bi treatment technology. The wastewater after treatment meets column A according to QCVN 40:2011/BTNMT.
According to Lao Dong Newspaper reporters in Tong village, Chieng An ward, the investor and the construction unit are mobilizing maximum machinery and human resources, dividing working shifts to complete the final items, preparing to inaugurate the project.

Construction of the second runway of Long Thanh airport day and night, completed on December 19
On August 16, according to information from Vietnam Airports Corporation (ACV), to meet the progress requirements of the Prime Minister, ACV has urgently deployed and completed the selection of contractors in special cases for packages during the construction phase to deploy the second runway and held a groundbreaking ceremony on May 30, 2025.
The second runway, 4 km long and 75 m wide, is currently under simultaneous construction. The construction contractor is the joint venture ACC - Truong Son - Vinaconex - Vinadic - ACJC647-Khanh Thien-VTG. The contract value is VND 2,570.36 billion (of which VND 2,364.73 billion is the construction value, excluding replenishment fees).
