Principals and directors enjoy staff streamlining policies when arranging schools
The Government has just issued Resolution 37/2026/NQ-CP, effective from August 5, 2026 to the end of June 30, 2028, stipulating the structure, quantity and some policies for management officials and educational support personnel when arranging public educational institutions.
According to regulations, each educational institution is arranged with 1 principal or 1 director. The main school and each branch of preschool, general education, and continuing education center is arranged with 1 vice principal or 1 deputy director.
For intermediate schools and vocational secondary schools, the number of deputy heads is implemented according to current regulations. Vocational education - continuing education centers are arranged with 1 deputy director at the headquarters and 1 deputy director for each branch.
After arrangement, the surplus principals, directors, vice principals, and deputy directors will be arranged as teachers or other job positions suitable to their capacity and expertise. In case of resignation, the staff streamlining policy will be resolved according to Decree 154/2025/ND-CP.
Southern region forecast for prolonged thunderstorms until mid-August
According to the Southern Hydrometeorological Station, the weather pattern forecast for the next 24-48 hours, the intertropical convergence zone (ITCZ) maintains its axis through the Northern and North Central regions. Southwest monsoons tend to gradually strengthen. Above, subtropical high pressure with a southern branch through the South China Sea continues to weaken, creating conditions for upper-level wind convergence to operate more effectively.

Forecast from 3-10 days, the intertropical convergence zone will move slowly to the North and gradually weaken. Southwest monsoon maintains intensity from moderate to strong. Above, the subtropical high pressure branch in the South continues to weaken, lowering its axis to the South and from about August 11-12.8 tends to encroach back to the West. Upper-level wind convergence continues to operate well in the Southern region.
Therefore, the South is generally experiencing intermittent sunshine during the day, showers and thunderstorms appear in the afternoon and evening; some places have moderate rain, locally heavy rain.

45-seater passenger car overturns on National Highway 1A bypass in Quang Tri
On August 7, in an exchange with a reporter from Lao Dong Newspaper, a representative of Ninh Chau Commune People's Committee (Quang Tri province) said that a traffic accident had just occurred in the area, injuring some passengers.
According to initial information, at about 5:30 am on the same day, a 45-seater passenger car of the T.H brand, license plate 29E-379. xx driven by driver L.T.H was traveling in the South - North direction.
When reaching the bypass of National Highway 1A through Dinh Muoi village, Ninh Chau commune, the passenger car overturned. The accident injured some passengers on the car, and the vehicle was heavily damaged.
