Candidates at the Tuyen Quang Specialized High School exam site will be considered for private university admission.
At the press conference to inform about the handling plan for candidates at the Tuyen Quang Specialized High School exam site on the morning of August 5, the Ministry of Education and Training announced a consensus proposal to cancel the results of the graduation exam on June 11-12 at the Tuyen Quang Specialized High School exam site, and re-take all exam subjects at this exam site, expected on August 14-15.
Prof. Dr. Nguyen Tien Thao - Director of the Higher Education Department, Ministry of Education and Training - said that for 328 candidates related to the incident at the Tuyen Quang Specialized High School exam site, they did not meet the minimum condition of 15 points to participate in the general admission according to regulations.
To ensure the rights of candidates, during the virtual filtering process, the Ministry of Education and Training only changed the status of this group of candidates to "not eligible to participate in general admission" and 328 Tuyen Quang candidates will be separately admitted when they have re-exam results according to enrollment regulations.

The Ministry of Home Affairs has just issued an official dispatch to collect opinions on the plan for Vietnam Culture Day 2026, Lunar New Year holiday and National Day 2027. Accordingly, the Ministry of Home Affairs proposed 2 plans for Lunar New Year 2027 holiday for civil servants and public employees.
Option 1, 5 days off according to regulations, including 2 days before Tet and 3 days after Tet. According to this ministry, because there are 2 weekly days off coinciding with Tet holidays, civil servants and public employees are entitled to compensatory 2 days off according to regulations.
The total Tet holiday is 7 consecutive days, including 5 Lunar New Year holidays and 2 compensatory weekly holidays.
Option 2, 5 days off according to regulations, including 1 day before Tet and 4 days after Tet. With this option, swap the working day from Friday, February 12, 2027 to the weekly rest day Saturday, February 27, 2027.
The total Lunar New Year holiday in 2027 is 10 consecutive days (including 5 Lunar New Year holidays, 2 compensatory weekly days, 1 swap day and 2 weekly days.
