The tallest vertical cable-stayed bridge project in Vietnam enters the final sprint towards the finish line
After a period of closing the last span, the Phuoc Khanh bridge construction site connecting Ho Chi Minh City and Dong Nai (belonging to the Ben Luc - Long Thanh expressway project) has entered the sprint stage towards the finish line.
Nearly 200 officials, engineers and workers are clinging to the middle of the Long Tau River, taking turns to complete the remaining workload, determined to bring this vital project to completion on schedule.

Mr. Hoang Dang Hau - Deputy Commander of Bac Trung Nam Company in charge of Phuoc Khanh bridge construction - said: "The overall progress of Phuoc Khanh bridge has now reached about 98% of the workload. All personnel at the construction site are focusing their efforts to connect the final stages, striving to open the entire route to traffic in September.

According to the Southern Hydrometeorological Station, from 3-10 days, the low pressure trough passing through the North will gradually weaken; from around August 4th, it is likely to be re-established. The Southwest monsoon maintains medium intensity. Above, the subtropical high pressure continues to expand westward and southward, then gradually weakens from around August 3rd.

Due to the influence of the above patterns, the Southern region continues to experience widespread thunderstorms; in some places moderate rain, heavy rain, locally very heavy rain. Around July 31, rain tends to decrease, mainly appearing scattered in the late afternoon and evening, sunny during the day.
Rainstorms can be accompanied by tornadoes, lightning, hail and strong gusts of wind, affecting agricultural production, causing trees to fall, damage to houses and infrastructure works. Heavy rain can cause localized flooding, affecting traffic, living and production activities.

Gia Lai has more than 1,000 redundant houses and land, unable to build houses for rent
After the merger, Gia Lai province promptly directed and approved plans for managing and using houses and land and implemented the arrangement and handling of redundant public assets in the area.
Through review and statistics, the province has basically fully identified the quantity, area, current status of use, management origin and legal status of houses and land facilities, as a basis for developing management, use and handling plans in accordance with regulations.
To date, the whole province has 8 facilities that do not meet standards and norms and 1,054 redundant houses and land facilities that are vacant and unused.
Among these, there is 1 facility using it for improper purposes; 14 facilities are vacant, not used, showing signs of encroachment, existence of people's works on land; 7 facilities have legal obstacles; 3 facilities are vacant and assigned to wrong management areas.
