The online contest "Learning about occupational safety and health knowledge" in the 3rd Military Trade Union, 2026, was launched on June 30.
According to the Ministry of National Defense's Electronic Information Portal, this is not just a propaganda activity, but a synchronous solution to innovate the content and forms of education, raise awareness and responsibility of officials, union members, and workers towards occupational safety and health in the new situation.
The content of the contest focuses on understanding the Party's guidelines, policies, and laws of the State; regulations of the Army and the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor on occupational safety and health; and equipping knowledge and skills to identify and prevent risks in labor and production.
Through the contest, each official, union member, and worker has the opportunity to consolidate and systematize knowledge; improve skills in identifying risks and preventing risks; raise awareness of law and labor discipline compliance; proactively ensure safety in the process of performing tasks, thereby transforming awareness into specific actions in each position, making practical contributions to preventing work accidents and occupational diseases, building a safe, regular, green - clean - beautiful working environment.
The new point of the contest is that it is organized online, applying information technology, in line with the digital transformation trend in the Army. This form not only expands the scope of propaganda, creating conditions for a large number of cadres, union members, and workers to participate, but also enhances the flexibility, efficiency, and spread of the contest throughout the army.
Speaking at the launch of the contest, Colonel Nguyen Van De - Head of the National Defense Trade Union - Standing Agency of the Organizing Committee emphasized that occupational safety and health is a particularly important content, directly related to the health and lives of soldiers and workers, especially in units that regularly perform training, combat readiness and labor production tasks with a potentially dangerous environment.
This contest is an opportunity for officials, union members, and workers to consolidate knowledge, equip themselves with skills, thereby transforming awareness into specific actions, and building a culture of safety in labor.
