The People's Committee of Phu Quoc Special Zone (An Giang) has just issued a notice requesting organizations, individuals, and households to dismantle and relocate small-scale advertising boards, roofs, fences, and non-business, trade, display goods, install, and place works on the road corridor under state management.
According to the People's Committee of the special zone, in order to ensure the progress committed to the Prime Minister and the People's Committee of An Giang province, in the past time, the People's Committee of Phu Quoc special zone has directed departments, organizations of the special zone and forces stationed in the area to deploy and promote propaganda activities, mobilize cadres and people to raise awareness of advertising activities, and put advertising activities into order. Overcoming the situation of illegal construction not in accordance with regulations and business covering, blocking, encroaching, occupying roads and sidewalks, causing obstruction, insecurity for traffic participants, and loss of urban beauty.
The People's Committee of Phu Quoc Special Zone informs organizations, individuals, and households that place billboards, display items in violation of regulations and build works, architectural objects, display goods on the road, sidewalks, and in the road corridor on DT.975 routes, 30/4 roads, Hung Vuong roads, Nguyen Trung Truc street in Duong Dong area; DT.973 road from Marriott to Cong Binh roundabout, Nguyen Van Cu Street, Pham Ngoc Thach Street, Le Quy Don Street, Nguyen Truong To Street (from Nguyen Van Cu Intersection to Ho Thi Nghiem) in An Thoi area, must be responsible for dismantling and relocating all of the above-mentioned architectural and technical works, returning the above-mentioned land to its original state from November 7, 2025 to November 8, 2025.
If after the time specified in this notice, organizations, individuals and households do not voluntarily carry out the demolition and relocation, the People's Committee of Phu Quoc Special Zone will coordinate with competent authorities to organize handling according to the provisions of law.
