On 9.4, in Dong Ha City (Quang Tri Province), Vietnam Journalists Association, Quang Tri People's Committee, Quang Tri Journalists Association in collaboration with the Vietnam Press Museum held a scientific seminar with the theme "The press accompanied the homeland and the country". Participating in the seminar, there were more than 200 delegates from press agencies throughout the country.
At the seminar, the delegates reviewed the glorious tradition and the important contributions of the Vietnamese revolutionary press during the process of fighting for national independence, unification of the country and in the process of innovation and international integration. The speeches at the seminar focused on hot issues in the journalism industry, such as the transformation of the press, trends, challenges and development tasks of modern journalism.
Journalist Nguyen Duc Loi - Permanent Vice Chairman of Vietnam Journalists Association emphasized the role of the press in reflecting honestly and promptly issues of the country, especially in the context of international innovation and integration. He also affirmed that the press needs to enhance the propagation of typical examples, application of digital technology and artificial intelligence, in order to improve the quality of information and fight against false information on social networks.
The program is an opportunity for press agencies to recognize their important role in society, while orienting the development of the press industry in the context of integration and digital technology.
