On May 7 and 8, the delegation of cadres of the Kien Giang Provincial People's Committee led by Comrade Le Trung Ho - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Head of the Kien Giang Provincial People's Committee visited and encouraged cadres and soldiers of Team K92 on duty in Cambodia.
The working group visited the working group of Team K92 (Kien Giang Provincial Military Command) stationed in Koh Kong province and Kam Pot province, Kingdom of Cambodia.
Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Thanh Hung - Captain of Team K92 reported that currently, Team K92 has recovered 12 sets of martyrs' remains (9-set Kam Pot province, 1-set Preah Sihanouk province and 1-set Koh Kong province). During the performance of their duties, the force encountered many difficulties such as prolonged hot weather, lack of fresh water for daily life, complicated epidemics, incomplete information about martyrs' graves... but the officers and soldiers were still determined, tried to overcome all difficulties, striving to fulfill the sacred and noble tasks assigned by the Party, State, and army.
The team also reported a number of difficulties and dangers in the process of performing tasks due to the difficult terrain of mountainous forests, recommending that the Provincial People's Committee pay attention to creating conditions, equipping vehicles and medicine to prevent all types of epidemics to help officers and soldiers conveniently perform their tasks.
At the places visited, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Le Trung Ho acknowledged, commended and highly appreciated the efforts, determination and achievements of the officers and soldiers of Team K92 in recent years, especially in the dry season of 2024 - 2025.

He also kindly visited his health, shared the difficulties and hardships in the process of performing the task, and encouraged the spirit of the officers and soldiers of Team K92 who are performing the task day and night.
Comrade Le Trung Ho also suggested that in the coming time, the K92 Team Command will continue to thoroughly grasp the meaning and importance of the task of searching, collecting, and repatriating the remains of volunteer martyrs and Vietnamese experts who died in Cambodia, thereby raising their spirit and responsibility, and striving to excellently complete the task.
The Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested Team K92 to continue to coordinate with the functional forces of the neighboring country, promote foreign affairs work to grasp and collect more information about martyrs' graves to speed up the search and collection of martyrs' remains. In particular, officers and soldiers should pay attention to maintaining their health and absolute safety, strictly following the process of searching for and excavating martyrs' remains.
On this occasion, the Kien Giang Provincial People's Committee and the units also presented gifts and money to encourage officers and soldiers of the K92 Team on duty in Kam Pot province, Koh Kong.
In addition, the Kien Giang Provincial People's Committee presented gifts and sent sincere thanks to the local government and the armed forces of Cambodia for their attention and active support for the K92 Team to carry out their tasks during the 2024-2025 dry season.
