On April 20, the Border Guard of Quang Binh province announced that it had just implemented the program "Saturday back to the village" on the border.
Responding to the "Saturday Homecoming" program, recently across the two border lines, hundreds of union members and youth of the Quang Binh Provincial Border Guard have simultaneously launched many practical activities, towards the community.
At Vung Chua - Yen Island, the Vietnamese air defense commanders of Roon Border Guard Station coordinated with other forces to participate in cleaning up the tomb of General Vo Nguyen Giap. At Cha Quang hill, Cha Lo International Border Guard Station coordinated with a local youth union to clean up the historical relic stele house area.

On the sea route, units such as Ngu Thuy Border Guard Station, Cang Gianh Border Gate, Squadron 2, Ly Hoa, Nhat Le and the Mobile Training Battalion simultaneously launched to clean up beaches, tourist areas, monuments and public places.
At the western border, the delegations of Lang Ho, Lang Mo, Ca Roong, Con Roang, and Ra Mai Border Guard Stations coordinated with local authorities and people to launch a general cleaning, clearing, and collecting waste in the highland villages. In particular, Ca Xeng Border Guard Station organized activities to support people in eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses in Thuong Hoa commune, Minh Hoa district.
In addition, the program also organized the presentation of 98 gifts to poor households and students in especially difficult circumstances, with a total value of more than 32 million VND; presented 20 national flags to households actively working in production.
The meaningful activities in the program "Saturday of the village" have contributed to the beauty of the landscape, spread the sense of responsibility for the community, and at the same time strengthen the relationship of military - people on the border of Quang Binh province.
