On February 22, information from the Soc Giang Border Guard Station said that the unit had just coordinated with the People's Committee of Soc Ha commune, Ha Quang district to organize many activities towards celebrating the 66th anniversary of the Border Guard's Traditional Day and the 36th anniversary of the National Border Guard Festival.
This is an opportunity for local Party committees, authorities and people to look back on the results achieved in protecting border sovereignty and security, while promoting the spirit of solidarity and attachment between the border guards and the people in the border area.
The report at the festival shows that in recent years, forces have coordinated with the people to organize many propaganda sessions, attracting thousands of participants, contributing to raising people's awareness of the task of protecting the border.
Border self-management teams, landmarks and self-management teams on security and order continue to play an important role, providing valuable information, helping authorities detect and handle many cases. Thanks to the close coordination between the Border Guard, the Police and local authorities, the security and order situation in the border area is always guaranteed, and national territorial sovereignty is maintained.
Over the years, border patrol and protection work has continued to be maintained regularly, with more than 8,000 people participating in patrolling and clearing border patrol routes, contributing to maintaining the border and border system.
On the same day, in Hong Viet hamlet, Truong Ha commune, Ha Quang district, the youth club of 4 forces including the Border Guard Command, Provincial Police, Youth Union and Provincial Military Command coordinated to plant 3,000 acacia trees and 50 fruit trees planted by forces along the border patrol road.
