On June 16, the Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Committee of Thuy Vinh Long province coordinated with Vinh Long Power Company to organize a meeting to celebrate the 101st anniversary of Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day (June 21, 1925 - June 21, 2026) and the signing ceremony of the Propaganda Cooperation Program for the period 2026 - 2030.
Attending the program were Ms. Ho Thi Hoang Yen - Member of the Party Central Committee, Standing Deputy Secretary of Vinh Long Provincial Party Committee; Ms. Nguyen Thi Minh Trang - Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Committee of Vinh Long Provincial Party Committee, along with leaders of grassroots units, sectors, press agencies and Vinh Long Power Company.
Speaking at the presentation, Ms. Nguyen Thi Minh Trang affirmed that revolutionary journalism is always a shocking energy on the ideological front, a bridge between the Party, the State and the People. The team of journalists has contributed to spreading positive values, consolidating social trust and accompanying the development of Vinh Long province.
According to Ms. Nguyen Thi Minh Trang, the coordination program between the Provincial Propaganda Department and Mass Mobilization Department activated with Vinh Long Power Company is not only a link between the two units but also a commitment to jointly act to raise community awareness about safe, economical, and efficient electricity use; Providing digital transformation and spreading practical social activities.
At the program, the two units signed a Coordination Program on propaganda work for the period 2026 - 2030 and the coordination distribution plan for 2026. The content focuses on propaganda about account holders, policies of the Party and State in the field of electricity; safe and economical use of electricity; digital transformation in the provision of electricity services and emulation movements, an ecological society in the province.
Speaking to direct the program, Ms. Ho Thi Hoang Yen said that the event is not only a tribute to the team of journalists but also shows the connection between propaganda, mass mobilization, and the task of socio-economic development of the province in the new period. She highly appreciated the development of a consolidated program with content, design, and compliance with the actual requirements of the locality.
Ms. Ho Thi Hoang Yen requested units to continue to innovate the content and methods of propaganda; strengthen coordination between electricity sectors, press agencies and propaganda and mass mobilization systems; promote the role of the press in orienting public opinion, spreading positive information and creating social consensus.
On this occasion, the Organizing Committee presented flowers and gifts in gratitude to press agencies, journalists and members who have made many contributions in information and propaganda work, to celebrate the 101st anniversary of Vietnamese Revolutionary Press Day.
