On September 20, according to Da Nang City Police, the Youth Union and Women's Union of Duy Xuyen Commune Police have just coordinated with the Dien Ban Detention Center and the Trade Union of Sedo Vinako Co., Ltd. to organize a program to bring Mid-Autumn Festival to children in the highlands of Noc Ong Xa (Hamlet 8, Tra Doc Commune, Da Nang City).
On September 19th and 20th, in the yard of Village 8 Cultural House, children were immersed in the bustling atmosphere through cultural exchange activities, folk games and breaking feasts to watch the moon.
In addition to entertainment activities, police officers and soldiers also integrate propaganda and guidance for children on skills to prevent and combat injuries and drowning - practical knowledge for children in mountainous and riverine areas.
On this occasion, the organizing committee handed over hundreds of gifts including mooncakes, candies, milk and school supplies to children from poor, near-poor households and difficult circumstances. All gifts were mobilized by the Trade Union of Sedo Vinako Co., Ltd. MTV to join hands in contributing.
Although the gifts are not of great value, they contain the deep concern and sharing of the forces for children in mountainous areas, contributing to bringing them a warm and complete Mid-Autumn Festival.
This is a practical activity towards the "Three Firsts" spirit that Duy Xuyen Commune Police are implementing. The program not only contributes to ensuring social security but also spreads the beautiful image of People's Police soldiers who are close to the people, understand the people and always accompany the People.
