On March 6, Ms. Bui Thi Minh Hoai, Member of the Politburo, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Party Committee of the Fatherland Front, Central Agencies, Chairwoman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, along with candidates for the 16th National Assembly, term 2026-2031, attended the voter contact conference at polling station No. 5 Phu Tho.
Presenting the action program to voters, Ms. Bui Thi Minh Hoai said: "I deeply understand that the National Assembly is the highest representative body of the people, the highest state power body, with the function of legislation, supreme supervision of the State's activities and is the agency representing the people to decide important issues of the country. I want to continue to become a National Assembly deputy to represent voters to participate with National Assembly deputies in deciding issues under the authority of the National Assembly.
Ms. Bui Thi Minh Hoai also said that if trusted by voters and elected as a National Assembly Deputy of the 16th term, in her working position, she will constantly train and strive to perform well the assigned tasks, fulfill the role and responsibilities of a National Assembly deputy; regularly be close and attached to voters and people; fully participate in National Assembly sessions, voter meetings, citizen receptions, listen to the opinions, thoughts, and legitimate aspirations of voters to truthfully and promptly reflect to the National Assembly; urge relevant agencies to promptly consider and resolve voters' petitions.
Ms. Bui Thi Minh Hoai emphasized focusing on researching and closely following grassroots levels to grasp the actual situation, synthesize the legitimate and lawful wishes and aspirations of the people; propose to the National Assembly to promulgate laws, mechanisms, and policies suitable to reality and in line with the people's hearts, especially policies directly related to people's lives such as land policies; policies related to ethnic minorities, remote and isolated areas, and extremely difficult areas; sustainable poverty reduction policies, environmental protection, social security, improving the quality of healthcare, education, and vocational training for ethnic minority youth, creating sustainable livelihoods, and improving the material and spiritual life of the people.
Along with that, it will regularly pay attention to and monitor the socio-economic development situation of Phu Tho province to join the Provincial National Assembly Delegation to act as a bridge between the locality and the National Assembly, Government, and central departments, ministries, and branches to serve the development of the province.
According to Chairwoman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Bui Thi Minh Hoai, in recent years, the province has made many achievements in socio-economic development, ensuring national defense and security; the material and spiritual life of the people is increasingly improved.
However, the province still faces many difficulties, I will be responsible for closely coordinating and accompanying the province to propose to the Central Government, the National Assembly, the Government, and central ministries and branches to improve the legal system, mechanisms, and policies, remove bottlenecks, difficulties, and obstacles, promote development; pay attention to building economic development policies associated with ensuring social security; effectively implement national target programs, especially the socio-economic development program for ethnic minority and mountainous areas; contribute to creating conditions for Phu Tho province to better promote its advantages as the center of the Midlands and Northern Mountains region, developing rapidly and sustainably, harmonizing economic growth with progress and social justice, ensuring that all people participate and enjoy the fruits of development," Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Bui Thi Minh Hoai shared.
Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Bui Thi Minh Hoai also emphasized: "With the responsibility of being a member of the Politburo, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, if I can participate in the National Assembly, I will have many opportunities and conditions to listen to and fully synthesize the voices of voters nationwide through the National Assembly sessions.
Within the scope of our responsibility, we will advise the Party, propose to the National Assembly, the Government, and state agencies to issue guidelines and policies to concretize the viewpoint "the people are the root", "the people are the subject", "the people are the center" of the renovation and development of the country; all guidelines and policies must truly come from the aspirations, legitimate rights, interests, and happiness of the people".
Ms. Bui Thi Minh Hoai also said that in the coming time, she will continue to coordinate and advise to mobilize all classes of people to well implement the Party's guidelines and the State's policies and laws, create trust and consensus among the people; continue to promote the core role of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations so that the people exercise their right to mastery, well implement grassroots democracy regulations, ensuring that "people know, people discuss, people do, people check, people supervise, people benefit, consolidate the great national unity bloc, consolidate trust, strengthen social consensus, contributing to the successful implementation of the country's rapid and sustainable development goals in the new era - the era of developing our country to be rich, prosperous, civilized, and happy.
