Handing over 6 charity houses and Great Unity houses to poor households

Vinh Long - The Provincial Red Cross Society handed over 6 charity houses sponsored by lottery companies in the South, helping poor households to eliminate temporary houses and stabilize their lives.

On June 24, the Vinh Long Provincial Red Cross Society organized the handover of 6 charity houses and Great Solidarity houses to poor households in the province, contributing to eliminating temporary houses and stabilizing people's lives.

The total amount of support for the 6 houses is 380 million VND. Of which, 1 household received 80 million VND, the remaining households each worth 60 million VND.

Ms. Vo Thi Be Bay, one of the households receiving the house, emotionally shared: "My family has long dreamed of having a solid house. Today, I am very happy to receive this house! Thank you to the Vinh Long Provincial Red Cross Society and sponsors for helping my family have a place to settle down and stabilize our lives".

Ms. Nguyen Thuy Yen Phuong - President of the Vinh Long Provincial Red Cross Society - said that the handover of these charity and solidarity houses is a great joy for the entire Vinh Long Provincial Red Cross Society.

"This is the result of joint efforts and contributions from benefactors, especially the enthusiastic support from lottery companies. We will continue to implement more meaningful and practical activities to support those in difficult circumstances," Ms. Phuong added.
