To celebrate the 67th Anniversary of the Traditional Day of the Vietnam Border Guard (March 3, 1959 - March 3, 2026) and the 37th Anniversary of the National Border Guard Day (March 3, 1989 - March 3, 2026), on March 3, Comrade Nguyen Dinh Trung - Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Hue City Party Committee visited and congratulated the City Border Guard.
At the meeting, the Secretary of the City Party Committee acknowledged the contributions of the force in protecting sovereignty, maintaining political security, social order and safety; requested to continue to firmly grasp the situation, proactively advise, and not be passive or surprised.
Towards the election of National Assembly deputies of the 16th term and People's Councils at all levels for the 2026 - 2031 term, Hue City Border Guards are required to closely coordinate with forces to ensure security and safety.
On this occasion, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee and the government of 12 border communes coordinated with Border Guard stations to organize the "National Border Guard Day" with many activities to review traditions, commend typical collectives and individuals, and give gifts to policy families.
Hue City has a land border line of 80.683km adjacent to Laos and 128km of coastline. In recent years, the movement of the entire people participating in protecting border sovereignty has been effectively implemented, contributing to consolidating the people's hearts and maintaining stability in the border area.
