On the sea and island routes, unit commanders arrange for officers with special circumstances in terms of leave, while ensuring reasonable duty troop numbers.

Coordinate with forces to strengthen patrols, ambushes, inspections, and close supervision of the border gate area. Not allowing subjects to transport smuggled goods and prohibited goods back and forth, especially in the wings, roundabouts, and shortcuts to evade functional forces.

In the days before, during and after Tet, the number of tourists and people passing through the border gate increased sharply, along with the increase in the amount of goods and vehicles. The Command Board requested units to arrange specialized staff, strengthen stations to support procedures and supervise all activities. Coordinate with border protection forces on the opposite side to notify the situation of tourists and goods passing through during the day. Promptly exchange information, thoroughly resolve cases to avoid backlog leading to complications.

Stick to the area, promptly detect and handle bad situations that may arise in the border area, ensuring safety for people to celebrate the traditional Tet fully.
