Ganh Dau Border Guard Station (Phu Quoc Special Zone, An Giang province) has just coordinated with the Women's Union of Chuong Vich neighborhood to organize a banh tet wrapping activity to celebrate Binh Ngo Spring 2026. This is a key activity within the program "Border Spring warms people's hearts", contributing to tightening military-civilian relations in border and island areas.
Although Tet has not yet arrived, the atmosphere at the campus of Ganh Dau Border Guard Station is very bustling and joyful than ever before. Women members of Chuong Vich neighborhood and border guard officers and soldiers are busy preparing for the cake wrapping stages.
Preparing the ingredients, soldiers and women gathered together to wrap banh chung. The atmosphere was joyful and friendly like family members preparing for Tet, creating a strong military-civilian bond.

According to the plan, the Station will wrap about 200 banh tet sticks to give to families in difficult circumstances in the area, with the desire to share love, helping difficult families have a fuller and warmer Tet.
The activity of wrapping banh tet to give to families in difficult circumstances has profound spiritual significance, contributing to strengthening solidarity and tightening the flesh and blood relationship between soldiers and people in border and island areas, further embellishing the qualities of "Uncle Ho's soldiers".
Lieutenant Colonel Tran Quoc Phu - Political Commissar of Ganh Dau Border Guard Station - said: "This activity aims to bring a warm Tet to people in border areas and islands, with a spirit of joy, health, thrift and not leaving anyone behind. Thereby contributing to keeping the fire of traditional Tet culture of the nation".
Ms. Le Thi Luyen - Head of the Women's Union branch of Chuong Vích Gành Dầu neighborhood - expressed: "For many years, women in Chuong Vích neighborhood have participated with the Border Guard Station in wrapping banh tet. In addition to wrapping cakes, in recent years, officers and soldiers in green uniforms have also always accompanied local authorities in caring for the material and spiritual life of the people. Especially the program "Border Spring warms the hearts of the people" with many series of activities bringing practical benefits to the people, contributing to ensuring social security, spreading the noble humanity of the spirit of compassion. Thereby, building a beautiful image of border guards always accompanying, dedicated, responsible and wholeheartedly for the people.
