On February 11, in Thuy Xuan ward (Hue City), Politburo Member, Minister of Foreign Affairs Le Hoai Trung, on behalf of Party and State leaders and the Vietnam Fatherland Front, presented Tet gifts to poor households, near-poor households, households in difficult circumstances and workers in the area.
210 gifts were presented to 200 households and 10 workers in Thuy Xuan ward, with a total value of 2.3 million VND each (including 2 million VND in cash and 1 gift worth 300 thousand VND). Among them, 200 gifts were presented by the Vietnam Fatherland Front and 10 gifts were supported by the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor.

At the friendly meeting, Politburo Member, Minister of Foreign Affairs Le Hoai Trung directly presented gifts to the people of Thuy Xuan ward.
Also attending the ceremony were Mr. Nguyen Duc Thinh - Head of the People's Foreign Affairs Department, Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front; Mr. Tong Van Bang - Member of the Presidium of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, Head of the Labor Relations Department of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front.

Speaking at the ceremony, Politburo Member, Minister of Foreign Affairs Le Hoai Trung shared with the people the difficulties they had to go through during the natural disasters at the end of 2025. The Minister affirmed that the activities of visiting and giving Tet gifts are meaningful and practical, showing the responsibility and feelings of the Party, State, Vietnam Fatherland Front and Vietnam General Confederation of Labor towards the people, especially policy families, people with meritorious services and households facing many difficulties.
I am honored to represent the Party and State to carry out this meaningful activity. Although the material value of the gifts is not large, they show concern and sharing, helping people celebrate Tet warmly and more fully. I hope that in the coming time, Party committees, authorities, the Fatherland Front and mass organizations of Hue City will continue to pay attention to promoting socio-economic development, doing well in social security work, taking care of people's lives, especially those who still face many difficulties and revolutionary families" - Politburo member, Minister of Foreign Affairs Le Hoai Trung emphasized.


Moved when receiving gifts from the Party and State, Ms. Nguyen Thi Xuyen (83 years old, residing in Thuy Xuan ward) could not hide her tears. She shared that she has lived with her parents for a lifetime, both of whom have passed away a long time ago, she has not started a family and is currently living alone. Life is already difficult, and there is no one to rely on.
“Now receiving gifts, receiving the attention of the Party, State and government, I don't know what else to say but sincere thanks. For me, this gift is really meaningful and very necessary,” Ms. Xuyen choked up.

Not only Ms. Xuyen, many people in Thuy Xuan ward also expressed their excitement and joy when receiving Tet gifts, clearly feeling the concern and companionship of the Party, State and mass organizations for people's lives during Tet and Spring.
