On January 3rd, Quang Trach Commune Police (Quang Tri province) said that they had just coordinated with Battalion 3 (North Central Mobile Police Regiment) to organize the volunteer program "0-dong Meal" at Bac Quang Tri Regional General Hospital.
The program is part of the "Winter Volunteer" and "Spring Volunteer" activities, aimed at sharing difficulties with patients and their families who are being treated in hospitals.
Within the framework of the program, more than 100 free meals were handed directly to poor patients. All meals were directly prepared by union members, youth of Quang Trach Commune Police and officers and soldiers of Battalion 3 from food selection, preliminary processing, cooking to packaging, ensuring food safety and hygiene and nutritional quality.
The source of green vegetables used in meals is harvested from the "Youth Vegetable Garden" model built and cared for by union members of Quang Trach Commune Police, contributing to ensuring clean and safe meals for patients.
According to Quang Trach Commune Police, although the meals are simple, they contain the feelings, care and sharing spirit of officers, soldiers, union members, and youth of the two units. This activity not only promptly encourages the spirit and adds strength to patients during treatment but also contributes to fostering the spirit of responsibility, kindness and close attachment to the People.
The "0 VND Meal" program is an activity to concretize the "Three Most" emulation movement in the People's Police force: Most disciplined - Most loyal - Closest to the people, and at the same time join hands to effectively implement social security work, serving local socio-economic development.
