Ca Mau signs coordination regulations between People's Council, People's Committee and Fatherland Front

On May 8, the People's Council - People's Committee - Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ca Mau province held a signing ceremony for the coordination regulations for the period 2026 - 2031.

Attending the signing ceremony were Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of Ca Mau Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Ho Hai; Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Huynh Quoc Viet; Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council Pham Van Thieu; Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Lu Quang Ngoi; Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ho Thanh Thuy and leaders of departments and branches.

Over the past time, the coordination between the People's Council, People's Committee and the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ca Mau province has achieved many positive results in all fields. Notably, mobilizing the "For the Poor" Fund of more than 226 billion VND; completing the removal of temporary and dilapidated houses with over 9,500 houses; coordinating to successfully organize the election of National Assembly deputies of the 16th term and People's Councils at all levels for the 2026 - 2031 term with a voter turnout of 99.94%.

The parties also effectively coordinated in supervision, social criticism, and voter contact; implementing social security, ethnic, and religious policies; and promptly taking care of policy families and poor households during holidays and Tet.

In the period 2026 - 2031, the three agencies agreed to focus on coordinating the implementation of key tasks such as consolidating the great national unity bloc; improving the quality of law-making and social criticism; strengthening supervision and prevention of corruption and wastefulness; and promptly handling issues arising from practice.

Speaking at the signing ceremony, Secretary of the Ca Mau Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Ho Hai emphasized that the signing of the coordination regulations is of great significance in improving the operational efficiency of each agency, and at the same time creating unity and consensus in the implementation of local political tasks.

Secretary of the Ca Mau Provincial Party Committee requested agencies to continue to closely coordinate, proactively share information, promote the strengths of each unit; promote the application of information technology, establish online exchange channels to improve the quality of advice, supervision and social criticism.

At the same time, supervision work needs to focus on issues of concern to voters, key political tasks; monitor and urge the thorough handling of existing issues after supervision, contributing to improving the operational efficiency of the political system in the new period.
