The ship is expected to leave the port at 24:00 on July 23, 2025. During their stay here, tourists mainly visit the Quang Ninh Museum, visit the streets, Long Tien pagoda, Marina night market, Sun Hill, Sunworld Cable Car, have dinner on a cruise ship, etc.
The ship, called STAR VOYAGER, built in 1997, is a Bahamas citizen, and has a speed of 43 km/h, 261m long, and 32m wide.
The ship has 998 rooms for 1,245 guests and has about 1,040 crew members.
This is not the season for cruise ship visitors. The season for cruise ship and international visitors usually starts in October this year and lasts until around March and April of the following year.
Since the beginning of the year, Quang Ninh has welcomed nearly 40 international cruise ships, with nearly 50,000 visitors, an increase of 25% over the same period. Tourists from many markets such as the US, Germany, UK, France, Japan, China, etc. In particular, the number of cruise ships to Quang Ninh in the summer months of this year is expected to increase by one and a half times compared to last year.
