On March 13 and 14, the working delegation of Election Commission No. 25 led by Ms. Le Thi Suong Mai - City Party Committee Member, Vice Chairwoman of the City Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, Chairwoman of the City Labor Federation (LĐLĐ), Member of the Can Tho City Election Commission, Head of Election Commission No. 25 - as head of the delegation, inspected the election preparation work in some communes and wards in the area.
Accompanying the delegation was Ms. Vo Kim Chuyen - Standing Member, Head of the Economic - Budget Committee of the Can Tho City People's Council, Deputy Head of Election Commission No. 25.
Accordingly, the working delegation came to inspect the reality in Khanh Hoa ward and Tai Van, Lieu Tu, Lich Hoi Thuong communes. At the same time, listening to reports from localities on preparations to create favorable conditions for the election of National Assembly deputies of the 16th term and People's Council deputies at all levels for the 2026-2031 term.
Up to now, the work contents have been carried out in accordance with regulations and ensured progress according to the plan of the City Election Committee. The polling area has been decorated and solemnly held; completion of the compilation and posting of the list of candidates for National Assembly deputies, People's Council deputies at all levels and voters' lists.
The polling stations have arranged guidance tables, closed polling rooms and other necessary conditions, ready for the "All People's Day" to take place safely and in accordance with regulations.
Along with appreciating the efforts of each commune and ward, the Chairman of the Can Tho City Labor Federation represented the working delegation, encouraging forces on duty in localities to continue to strive to complete the remaining tasks well, contributing to the successful organization of the upcoming election.
